My newest solo composition continues my recent work with expanding the tone color palette, ‘chordal’ sounds with three or more overtones, and experiments using text. This piece is influenced by two different vocal styles: traditional throat singing and scat singing in bebop jazz. I am calling it Throat Jamz.
