Introduction to Harmonic Singing Dr. Stuart HindsHarmonic singing, or overtone singing, is becoming more popular all over the world. People are attracted to harmonic singing for a variety of purposes: as a focus for meditation, as a technique for relaxation and healing, as a means for spiritual expression or metaphysical communion, as a way of appreciating the music of different world cultures, and particularly for the sheer musical joy and personal expression. These benefits apply at all skill levels; virtuosity is not required. Even beginners can experience the power of harmonic singing.As a participant in the workshop, you will learn the basic techniques to get you started on your path.
