For this concert, I have selected an eclectic program of jammin’ music in a wide variety of ethnic, traditional. and popular styles.
The program is called ‘Throat Jamz,’ after the title of a new composition by Hinds that will receive its premiere performance on this occasion. The new piece is a fascinating combination of throat singing styles with scat singing syllables.
